A reflection.

Past classes in our course we saw a video (Diet for a New America by John Robbins). In which showed diseases of human being .. How bad food, improper food and exaggerated hurt us, amix of environmentalism, the cruelty to animals, bad eating habitsand human diseases.
Well, I tell you what I saw was not entirely new, but it made me thinka little beyond ..
I am a thin person who eats anything that you like, as junk food like everyone else. More than for my health, I worry or am I more aware of the appearance of my body, but not enough.

I am aware of the need to take care in feeding, but it is difficult to change the habits of an overnight. I think that eating well is alifestyle, it requires patience, dedication, discipline and time.
I might not fully implement a healthy diet in my life, because my times are variants of the university.

However, we also try to live a long time and I want to be in a good way, my diet will not change dramatically, but I think it would be agood start reducing snacks (which are a huge habit for me).

I will do this, and you?

Remember, the human body is vulnerable to the world.

Collection for "Es justo y necesario" foundation.

First I have to say a bit about the foundation. It works for the poor people in the streets of Urdesa and in Mapasingue; offers studies in moral/etic/catolic and primary for the best students of school, they bring a scholarship for high school and then help getting jobs to sustents their university carrers.
Offers too, breakfast, refreshments and lunch; medical attention for the kinds and their parents (help with alcoholic problems), legal service.

Last Wednesday's gathering was held to raise money for this foundation. I waspart of it at first time, I must say the experience was pleasant. Many people arewilling to give just as there are those that do not rely on these foundations, however I can say it was rewarding!

A
t the very beginning, I felt that not long, but while I was there, many peopleapproached me, as did their donation and they said that we appreciated what we did was wonderful. give a little of your time to help people who don't know.

I begin to imagine .. How grateful will be, and smell their new notebooks, they will learn on the Internet, how many pictures will they see, thousands of places andthings through them .. Are huge opportunities opening up for these children.

My participation in this small but small social work, have put my grain of sandmakes me feel like I do even more, are simple things that can make a huge difference.
